the legal allowable limit.

The retailer didn't purchase this item and required
all sippy cups purchased in the future be screened
for lead content as a condition of purchase and prevented
a possible Consumer Products Safety Commission recall.

Fireplace screen:
Unbelievably, this fireplace screen was coated with
paint which was flammable and caught fire in simulated
use testing, posing a serious safety hazard to the consumer.
Result: Working with
the laboratory, the manufacturer changed the paint
prior to shipping, saving the retailer countless liability
claims and negative publicity.

Thread used in the manufacture of this children's sleepwear
item was highly flammable and in violation of Federal
Safety Standards, posing a potentially serious safety
hazard.
Result: Based on our
findings, the factory switched thread suppliers to
